Mesh Gratings

What are mesh gratings?

Our mesh gratings are available in countless variations with configurations to suit your application and aesthetic requirements. We pride ourselves in engineering safety, offering specification proposals with relevant standards taken into consideration including slip resistance, load criteria including strength and deflection.

Mesh gratings are often used as flooring in industrial environments, walkways, platforms, and mezzanines.

Ridgeway Expertise

We take into consideration all requirements relevant to standard applicable such a 35mm or 20mm ball proof rule and deflection limit. Grating is available with cut-outs and shaping that we often see in project and architectural orders. Our experienced and technical minded staff are always available to discuss your enquiry in depth.

High Strength

Our supply partner PcP produces several different surfaces that are untreated steel, galvanized steel, aluminium, stainless 304 and acid proof 316, cor-ten A (weathering steel), high strength steel. The grating is provided with an edge profile on four sides or unbound for your fabrication / finishing.

Versatility

Our gratings can be combined with three different types of mesh. Grating with a square mesh, gratings with rectangular mesh and gratings with louvre bars. The variations and combinations are numerous of all three types. The mesh grating can also be supplemented with serrations for enhanced slip resistance.

Mesh gratings come in various materials, including steel, aluminium and press welded. The choice of material depends on factors such as the intended application, the environment in which the grating will be used, and the desired level of durability and corrosion resistance.

Pressure Welded Grating is particularly useful for architectural applications where bar alignment is to be considered, additionally the benefit of added welds on grating make-up allows for extra rigidity when cutting and shaping.

Mesh Gratings are available in various materials and surfaces. Untreated steel, galvanized steel, aluminium, stainless AISI 304 or acid-proof AISI 316 – the choice is yours.
